**Starting pay rate $12.50/hour, dependent on experience and qualifications**

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with rotating weekends.

HOUSEKEEPER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cleans offices, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways
Cleans resident apartments as scheduled
Moves and dusts furniture and cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
Empties wastebaskets and vacuums and empties/cleans ashtrays
Transports trash and waste to disposal area
Replenishes bathroom supplies
Performs emergency pull cord testing
When resident is transferred or discharged from facility, performs cleaning procedures to ensure room is prepared for new occupant
Performs cleaning and sanitizing procedures in accordance with infection control policies and procedures
Uses effective universal precautions and sanitation practices
Completes any report or log as requested
Attends related in-service trainings and staff meetings as requested
Immediately reports equipment malfunctions, injuries, and accidents to supervisor
Performs other duties as assigned

HOUSEKEEPER QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma/GED preferred
Some related experience preferred
Fluent English speaking/writing communication skills
Must be able to maintain general sanitary/safety practices
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
